Chung Ying Central
Chung Ying Central is Birmingham’s newest oriental bar and restaurant. With a modern and contemporary décor, Chung Ying Central offers a variety of high quality dim sum, specially selected dishes and a cocktail bar.
The express lunch options available daily from 11.30am to 2.30pm (Saturday 12pm to 3pm) are especially popular with the surrounding offices in the Birmingham’s financial district.
Oriental themed cocktails and beers are specialities of the restaurant and daily happy hour prices are available on small plates, beer and cocktails.
Whether you want to sample our express lunches, feast on our selection of dim sum or enjoy a few drinks at our well stocked bar, Chung Ying Central offers a perfect getaway for both business and pleasure. Private functions can also be catered for.
Chung Ying Central, voted the Best Restaurant in Birmingham 2016, is the latest addition from the Chung Ying Restaurant Group who have been established in Birmingham since 1981.
Master of the Wok
Chef Lung is one of the main Wok chefs at Chung Ying Central. His skill and expertise in flavouring and combining ingredients at the right time using the wok is well known in the Chinese and Vietnamese community.
Lung started in 1987 at Chung Ying Garden as a kitchen porter, he worked his way up at Chung Ying Garden to become one of the most respected chefs in China Town. Lung is Vietnamese-Chinese so when he isn’t stir frying some delicious dishes up for customers at Chung Ying Central, he is making authentic Chinese and Vietnamese ‘off the menu’ items for staff and customers to try.
